and
Founder of the NABSTMC
Kenneth "Dream Maker" Thomas
Hello, My Name is Ken Thomas aka "Dream Maker",

I am the founder of the Chicago Buffalo Troopers Motorcycle Club, formally the Chicago Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. The National Association of Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club was formed in 1999 after the growth of our club with Buffalo Soldier chapters in other states. With the Chicago Chapter being recognized as the mother chapter of the organization the club has grown to over 115 chapters to date.
I am a retired Chicago Police Officer and I currently ride a 2013 Victory Cross Country Tour. I have been riding motorcycles over 30 years and I chose to form the motorcycle club after experiencing the activities of the local clubs in the Chicago area. I wanted to create a new club that honored the history and legacy of those African Americans that fought and died for this country and a club that would be respected within our community and throughout this nation. Our mission as a club is simple, we ride, educate, and give back to community.
As they say, “The rest is history”
One Club, One Patch, One Mindset – AND ONE LOVE

NABSTMC-Chicago Community Service Event February 25, 2026
On February 25, 2026, Chicago Mother Chapter's very own Probie "Lloyd Graham" participated in a Black History event at Homewood Flossmoor High School during their Black History program, as part of his community service. Lloyd was accompanied by his sponsor G-Dub and one other member, Pinky. The trio spent the morning at the High School educating the staff and students on the history of NABSTMC. Lloyd with the help of G-Dub and Pinky setup a display table of artifacts reflecting NABSTMC. Everyone in attendance enjoyed hearing the history of our beloved club and the reason behind keeping our Black History alive. Thank you Probie Lloyd for dedicating your time during this Black History month to share and educate our youth. Here are a few pictures of the event.

Chicago Chapter spent the day on August 09, 2025, distributing backpacks to the children in the community, preparing them for back to school.
All the children and parents were much appreciative for the support that was shown by the Buffalo Troopers Chicago Chapter. It was a great time had by all in attendance. Here are a few pictures of the event. To see more photos, please visit our Photo/Video page.
